For you

• 🧪Your partner's hormone levels are rising, which can cause mild discomfort or sensitivity. Be understanding and offer your support during these initial physical and emotional changes.
• 💊Help her remember to take her prenatal vitamins with folic acid. It is a small but valuable gesture of care for the health of your baby and your partner at this critical stage.
• 😴Intense fatigue is expected for her as her body adjusts. Take on more household chores to give her time to rest and offer to accompany her to the first doctor's appointment.

For your baby

• 🏠The tiny embryo, now called a blastocyst, implants into the walls of the uterus. There, the amniotic sac and the placenta are formed, which will provide protection and nourishment for your baby.
• 🧬This week, the formation of the neural tube begins, which will later develop into the brain and spinal cord. It is a period of explosive growth at a cellular level!
