Week 12: Your baby is the size of a lime! 🍋

For you

• 🤰Your uterus is now moving higher into the abdominal area, which may reduce pressure on your bladder and the frequent need to urinate. You are likely to start seeing a small, sweet curve in your belly area!
• ✨As hormone levels begin to stabilize, morning sickness may subside, giving way to a new sense of energy. Continue to eat healthily and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
• 🩺This week is important for scheduling the nuchal translucency scan. Don't hesitate to discuss any questions you have about the tests and the progress of your pregnancy with your gynecologist.

For your baby

• 💪Your baby is now fully formed and its organs are starting to function in a coordinated way. Fingers and toes have completely separated and nails are beginning to grow.
• 👶The baby's reflexes are developing rapidly! Although it is still too small for you to feel, the baby can open and close its mouth and move its tiny arms and legs.
